Dan Morehead

Dan founded Pantera Capital in 2003 – managing a billion dollars in hedge fund strategies.  He previously served as Head of Macro Trading and CFO at Tiger Management with Julian Robertson.  Dan began his career as a Collateralized Mortgage Obligation trader at Goldman Sachs.  Dan graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a B.S. in Structural Engineering and received the Carmichael Prize for his thesis.

Pantera Capital is the first institutional investment firm focused exclusively on bitcoin, other digital currencies, and companies in the blockchain tech ecosystem.  Pantera launched the first cryptocurrency fund in the United States when bitcoin was at $65/BTC in 2013.  The firm subsequently launched the first exclusively blockchain venture fund and recently concluded raising its third venture fund.  In 2017 Pantera was the first firm to offer a pre-auction ICO fund.  Pantera Bitcoin Fund has returned over 16,000% in seven years and has returned billions to its investors.  Pantera currently manages $700mm in capital in seven funds in three product groups – passive, hedge, and venture.

Dan Boneh

Dr. Boneh is a Professor of Computer Science at »ÆÉ«µçÓ° where he heads the applied cryptography group and co-directs the computer security lab.  Dr. Boneh's research focuses on applications of cryptography to computer security.  His work includes cryptosystems with novel properties, security for mobile devices, web security, and cryptanalysis.  He is the author of over 150 publications in the field and is a recipient of the 2014 ACM prize, the 2013 Godel prize, the RSA award in mathematics, and six best paper awards. In 2016 Dr. Boneh was elected to the National Academy of Engineering.
