Tim Kaiser is a Professor of Economics, especially Economics of Education and Economic Education, at the  and a Researcher at the .

He is a  Affiliate, a Research Affiliate at the , Bonn, and is associated with the , a joint initiative of the University of Mannheim and the Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW).

Tim currently serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance (), on the advisory board of editors of the , and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Financial Literacy and Personal Finance Research Network ().

His research interests are in the area of applied microeconomics, especially economics of education, development economics, financial literacy and personal finance.
